1.) Enzo is an Awesome crate sleeper! Nighttime & naps are not a problem for him! Though he does like the radio or TV on to fall asleep. LOL I think its the white noise, but whatever it is, it sends him to la-la land fast! ;o)
2.) He has a ton of energy! If we play, play, play for like 30-45 minutes, he is a nice calm boy for a LONG time!
3.) He is a fast learner and so are his people! (Day 1: one accident in house, Day 2: one accident in house, Day 3: NO accidents in house! Woo hoo, hooray for Enzo and his people! LOL)
4.) Dog toys are for Enzo, kids toys are for Enzo too…haha…No no just kidding, we are now learning to pick up what we like, cause if we don’t, Enzo will LOVE it all! Including little shoes ;o)
5.) Enzo likes to play Fetch!! After watching his big sister for the past two days go back and forth down the hall, he has decided he wants in on that action! So we wind up, toss the ball/toy down the hallway…and off he goes and returns it right back! Yay for Enzo!... And his big sister Jersey for being such a good teacher!
6) Enzo has an appetite!! And when I say appetite…I mean serious appetite! He is constantly looking for food…and he eats like he hasn’t eaten in days! LOL
7) Enzo has so far proven to be very aware of his little people in the house. He is very gentle with them and the love he gives them! I am attributing his behavior to his amazing foster home! I believe that being around kids, prepared him for kids! Plus it helps we are always RIGHT there! We never leave anyone unattended for everyone’s safety, including Enzo’s!
8)Enzo LOVES his attention! How fast he has learned that if he rolls over onto his back spreading himself long and stretched out as someone is walking by…he will inevitably get that person to love on him and rub his belly! Come to think of it Jersey does that too…Hmm…maybe Big Sister taught him another trick too…haha!
9) Enzo loves to sun bathe! We spend a good amount of time outside, while I relax in my chair hidden under the shade for any type of cool I can find…there is Enzo soaking in the sun! If I squirt him with the hose, he is even happier! I think it might just be a little slice of Enzo heaven!
10) Enzo does very well on a leash! While he hasn’t explored the real world yet (due to shots), he does do very well on his leash in the house. A few times in the day I put on his leash and walk him with me while I do my chores. This gives him the chance to get use to the leash, learn to wait patiently while I do whatever I am doing (laundry, garbage, making a bed …etc). It also is teaches him to sit, and stay! Today I let go of the leash while cleaning the bathroom, but he didn’t move, I think he assumed the leash was on…ok I’ll stay! High Five to mom for coming up with that idea! And of course what a good Enzo!
11) Enzo loves his Bunny! Now Enzo happily greets his friend. He is sure to first thing when coming in the house after potty time, or when waking up to run over see the bunny and lick him through the cage then run away! It’s actually funny, because most of the time is startles the bunny and Percy jumps and runs into his house! It makes us laugh to no end!
12) Enzo is learning to be a star on camera! Mama always has a camera in hand...so his mugshot gets taken often! That's one of the joys of living in our family! My boys say "Mom is like the paparazzi! So watch out!"
