Preparing for Enzo...

So the countdown begins…6 days till we get to pick up our new little guy…so much to do! We head out to the Doggies Paradise of goodies “Petco”…running through the aisles we are overwhelmed…Ahhh…we need it all! LOL…ok ok…we WANT it all! Running down the aisles, Enzo on our brains…in the cart goes: Food ✓, Toys✓, Crate✓, Collar✓, Leash✓, Treats✓, Fluffy Doggy Bed✓, Bowls✓, More Toys✓, ID Tag✓, and of course lots of goodies for our Jersey Girl (our 4 year old beagle) so she does not get jealous!! We can’t have that! ❤

Heading home, my car packed full...I have 1 more stop to make...this one is for mommy! I hop out of the car and into Sams Club to get dinner and a copy of "The Art of Racing in the Rain" by Garth Stein. I loved Enzo's name, and hearing why his foster mommy felt it was a perfect name for him but I had to read it for myself!




So book in hand, and away towards home we went. We immediately unloaded the goodies and started putting it all together! It was a great day…we set up his large crate in the living room and even had a friend give us a second crate which we decided to put in our bedroom so he could sleep with us at night! This is going to be one LUCKY dog! The excitement is setting in more and more…and we are even more excited that the following day the Foster mom is allowing us to come see him again for a midweek visit! More time with Enzo...hooray!!
